Cooling Season
R. Poust Heating & Cooling offers plans to cover your cooling season and gives you the confidence to trust in your central air conditioner on the hottest days of the year. Our plans cover all major brands regardless of where it was purchased from originally. An average bill for repairs on a central air conditioner is around $500, but protecting yourself with a contract plan can make it so you do not feel the full brunt of that repair.
Residential Air Conditioning Service Agreement
The one time maintenance inspection for the air conditioning system includes:
- Lubricating the fan motors (if applicable)
- Replace standard 1” pleated air filter
- Test the condensate drain or pump for proper operation
- Check the belts (if applicable)
- Take the temperature difference
- Check the thermostat for proper operation and calibration
- Check for proper system charge
- Take the amp draws
- Inspect blower components
- Tighten the electrical connections
- Check duct work for debris and other contaminants
Attic Fan Coverage
Can be purchased when an air conditioning service agreement is purchased.
- If a CAP Plan is purchased for the air conditioning system and you purchase the attic fan coverage, you will have a CAP Plan attic fan coverage.
- When you purchase a Gold Plan for the air conditioning system and purchase the attic fan coverage, you will have a Gold Plan attic fan coverage.
- When you purchase a Platinum Plan for the air conditioning system and purchase the attic fan coverage, you will have a Platinum Plan attic fan coverage.
- The price is the same for all attic fan plans, but it matches the coverage you purchase for the air conditioning system.
